Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship Details

CQUniversity offers a limited number of Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships to top new international students. Scholarships are available to all new students for study across all CQUniversity campuses. Each scholarship provides exceptional students with a 20% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of their degree. International Postgraduate Research Award (IPRA)

IPRA Details

The International Postgraduate Research Award provides the successful candidate with:

  1. A grant for relocation allowances, research support grant
  2. Thesis allowance to the value of AUD$18,484.00 for two years of Masters Research or three year Doctoral programs.

IPRS Details

The International Postgraduate Research Scholarship covers the candidates tuition fees and Overseas Health Cover for two year Masters Research or three year Doctoral programs. Eligible candidates will be required to have Honours 1 or equivalent - Find Out More

GlobaLinks Scholarship Program

This scholarship is offered through GlobaLinks for students who have proven financial need, personal motivation and academic achievement. A committee of U.S University advisors assess the applications based on the following set of criteria.

Students:

  • Must be enrolled at a U.S college or university.
  • Must be accepted into an AustraLearn semester or year abroad program.
  • Must have completed the scholarship materials including:
    • 1) Scholarship Application form.
    • 2) Financial Need Declaration/Statement.
    • 3) Statement of Extracurricular Activities, Vocational Plans.
    • 4) Essay describing selection of overseas university and how the study abroad experience will make an impact.
    • 5) Minimum GPA of a 2.5 out of a 4.0 scale.

AusAID Scholarships

The Australian Government's overseas aid program aims to increase access to and the quality of education and training for people in partner countries. The program provides selective assistance in distance education, higher education and institutional strengthening. There are a range of scholarships available for International students wishing to study in Australia.

National Scholarship Program

The national scholarship programme of the Slovak Republic is intended to support the mobility of foreign students, PhD students, university teachers and researchers to stay at Slovak universities and research institutions.

Types of scholarships:

  1. Scholarships for foreign university students to take part in Master (graduate) study over a period of 1 to 2 semesters (from 5 to 10 months) at Slovak universities.
  2. Scholarships for foreign PhD students to take a part of PhD study over a period of 1 to 12 months at the Slovak universities or research institutes of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
  3. Scholarships for foreign university teachers and researchers over a period of 1 to 12 months to carry out teaching or research at the Slovak universities, research institutes or nongovernmental organisations on the basis of an invitation.

Required documents that must be attached to the application form by foreign students and PhD students applying for a study/research stay (1 set of original documents + 2 sets of copies):

  1. Completed scholarship application form.
  2. Structured Curriculum Vitae.
  3. Motivation letter.
  4. Detailed information on study or research program.
