What happens if the scholarship is terminated?

Satisfactory academic progress

The scholarship may be terminated if the recipient does not maintain a satisfactory academic progress. A recipient will be considered to have maintained satisfactory progress if they successfully complete all courses in each term of their enrolment.

If satisfactory progress is not maintained, the recipient will be required to discuss their situation with the BMC Education Initiative Advisory Group, who will decide on whether to maintain the provision of the scholarship.

Leaving campus accommodation

If a recipient wishes to leave campus accommodation the scholarship will also be terminated, however academic progress will continue to be tracked by the BMC Education Initiative Advisory Group.
