BMC Building My Career Scholarships
CQUniversity Australia scholarships help give you the opportunity to be what you want to be. A scholarship can provide assistance with the financial burden of studying and help turn your dreams into reality.
About the BMC Building My Career Scholarships
BHP Billiton Mitsui Coal Pty Ltd (BMC) and CQUniversity understand that a potential roadblock to attending university for school leavers can be the cost of living away from home and are working together to promote the value of education in the Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac regions.
The scholarship enables you to access your local world class university with minimal impact to your own or family's budget by offering on campus accommodation at CQUniversity Mackay for the duration of your study and meals during the academic year.
It also potentially adds to the general pool of non-mining professionals in the area, thus promoting healthy, strong and connected communities that have the resilience to cope with change. The partnership is designed not only to focus on addressing community skills shortage areas but to encourage students to study, stay and work in the local area post graduation.
Please note: Scholarship Closing date has been extended to 4pm on Friday 28th October 2011
