Facilities

PELM is located on the beautiful Gladstone Marina. It consists of 10 "cells" that provide laboratory space for researchers and a building for offices for research staff and students. Although several cells are currently occupied by the laboratories of PELM, it is possible to hire facilities for external research projects or as a site for incubation of high-tech start-up companies.

At present our facilities consist of an extensive fluids laboratory, an optical emission spectrometer for aluminium analysis, an X-ray diffraction facility, microscopy equipment for evaluating materials and corrosion testing equipment.
