Once a loan item is removed from the ITD loans desk, or equipment is setup on location, the safekeeping, safe operation and custody of the equipment is the responsibility of the 'loanee' (staff member). Custodianship & liability for damage to or loss of equipment remains with the 'loanee' until ITD staff again take possession of the equipment. If equipment loans or setups finish after hours, the 'loanee' will need to arrange for the safekeeping of the goods until return to ITD during normal hours. Please return all equipment promptly to avoid inconvenience to other users.
Penalties for late return are: 1st and 2nd occurrence will result in a warning, any further late returns will result in withdrawal of borrowing rights.
