The Masters degree in Rail Operations Management has been developed under the Rail Cooperative Research Centre (Rail CRC) with significant contributions from its key partner organisations. The suite of courses in the program have been developed at the request of the Australian rail industry to address the shortage of qualified rail operation managers and to meet structured career development needs for new recruits in the area of Rail Operations Management.
Working concurrently with other organisational career development programs, and with the support of work-based mentor(s), these programs will fast-track student's acquiring a comprehensive and systematic body of knowledge and skills essential for the efficient management of rail operations in a modern rail industry operating in a highly sensitive commercial environment.
