Grievance Handling

All grievances will be dealt with in a prompt, fair and objective manner, without intimidation or victimisation for initiating or participating in the grievance settlement, either during or subsequent to the grievance resolution CQUniversity has a student complaint policy that is relevant to all students undertaking the ACS Professional Year Program at a CQUniversity campus. Credit Transfer

ACS Professional Year Program participants who transfer to CQUniversity from another ACS Professional Year Partner Provider will be awarded credit transfer for the elements of the program completed at their previous provider. Recognition of prior learning for all other purposes is not allowable in this program.

Attendance/Absences

To successfully complete all elements of this program, students will be required to attend a minimum of 80% of classes as per University recommendations and have a 90% attendance record for their internship. 

If a student is unable to attend lecturer and tutorials, documents can be submitted to staff at their study location.

Medical certificates will NOT be accepted if they are backdated, undated, unstamped or tampered with. The original copy must be presented with the name, provider number and signature of a legally qualified practitioner must appear on the document. These certificates should be presented to the Faculty.

If your name does not appear on a class roll, you should ask your lecturer/tutor to write your name at the bottom of the list and then see Faculty staff to resolve the situation.
