CQUniversity Australia's prides itself on its close relationship with industry and the community. We are committed to excellence in education and research that directly contributes to advancements to the Central Queensland region.

This contribution to our regional economy, both directly and indirectly, provides employment, enhances workforce qualifications, accelerates innovation, and generates value through improving skills and knowledge. We also contribute further by helping to attract skilled labour and other services into communities.

The range of programs and diversity of staff and students from different backgrounds also helps to build and sustain social capital in the communities we serve. For example, the substantial economic contributions that CQUniversity made to the economy in the Rockhampton region in extensive, with a total economic output in the millions and thousands of increased job opportunities.

Over the coming years this relationship with our local industy and communities will continue to grow. We aim to establish more programs in areas that will add to the strength of the community and its economic output. We aim to enage more with leaders of industry to ensure jobs and opportunities are plentiful.
