International students - attendance at orientation is compulsory. You are required to attend orientation. In Rockhampton you need to attend extra information sessions. At other campuses, you need to attend all orientation sessions. Orientation Online is also available for you.
Domestic students - attend the orientation closest to you and do Orientation Online. If it is not possible for you to attend in person, ensure you work thoroughly through Orientation Online.

Orientation is fun and informative and provides an excellent opportunity to meet academic and support staff, student mentors and other students. Orientation sessions are designed to introduce you to academic life, support services and the administrative systems essential for you to manage your study program.
Orientations are held at several locations for terms 1 and 2.

If you have a laptop, it would be useful to bring it to orientation.
is a series of 'snapshots' introducing you to tertiary study. It is available during your first term of enrolment in an undergraduate or postgraduate program on domestic campuses or by flexible learning. To go to Orientation Online, please click the banner below, log in with your student number and password and select ORIE_12345_OrientationOnline from the list. You should still attend an On-campus Orientation if at all possible.
This course is available within 24 hours of accepting your offer and enrolling in at least one course.
