About the University Secretary
The University Secretary is the Secretary to the University Council and is responsible for the processes of governance within the University through the Council and its sub-committees. There are three Directorates in the Division. The Governance Directorate has day to day carriage of governance activities. The Internal Audit Directorate operates as an independent appraisal function which forms an integral part of the University's internal control framework. The Corporate Events Directorate is responsible for the management of projects and University events, including Graduation Ceremonies and provides high-level executive support to the University Secretary.
The University Secretary is responsible for the management of the Vice-Chancellor and President's Office.
Ms Roberts has been with CQUniversity since 1995 and has held senior positions with the Executives of CQUniversity for the past 10 years. She is an alumni of the University and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Business (Administration). Prior to coming to CQUniversity, she worked in various administrative roles in local government.
