The Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean is the executive manager of the Faculty and is responsible, amongst other things, for strategic planning and developing goals and objectives and annual budgets, for high standards of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment in relation to programs and courses for which the Faculty is responsible. Management and cost-effective deployment of staff, the advancement of the reputation of the work of the Faculty and the management and quality of performance of the Schools and research centres, are also the responsibility of the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean.
