Gloria has previously worked in primary schools providing psychological services for students. She was also a volunteer visitor for the Mental Illness Fellowship Victoria. Gloria enjoys working with clients of different cultural backgrounds and across the lifespan. She can speak fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Gloria is currently a provisional psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.

My background is primarily working with adults with acquired brain injuries, schizophrenia and depression. More recently, I have been working with children in foster care. I am interested in working with people across the lifespan and, working more with people experiencing anxiety.

Marie is particularly interested in individuals in the context of work and study. Marie has 10 years experience in Human Resource Management and Training.

Steve has previously worked as a Psychologist for non-governmental organizations and private practices. He has a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and the assessment and treatment of adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Steve currently works within a local private psychology practice.

Stephanie

Stephanie

Stephanie (Steph) completed a Bachelor of Psychology with honours in 2009 at CQUniversity.
She is currently an intern psychologist at the Gladstone Health & Wellbeing Centre where she is responsible for group therapy with children and adolescents with Asperger's and high functioning Autism. Steph is also a registered Employee Advisor.

Her particular interests lie in self-harming behaviour and she conducted her honours thesis on the effects of personality, self-esteem, and coping strategies on self-harming behaviour in young adults.

Scott Hinton

Scott Hinton

Registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Scott has worked for a number of years providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents who were homeless or at risk of homelessness, and their families. As well as adolescents who were experiencing significant mental health problems, including those young people engaging in non-suicidal self-injury. For a short time he worked at the Capricornia Correctional Centre, undertaking assessments and co-facilitated group treatment programs. Scott was employed for a number of years as the resident psychologist at an Indigenous non-Government drug and alcohol facility, he also maintained a small private practice providing psychological assessment and intervention services. Scott lectured for CQUniversity's abnormal psychology and cognitive therapies courses.

He is currently employed by Queensland Health as a Psychologist within the Rockhampton Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Service, and is responsible for providing psychological services to the clients. He is an accredited supervisor of intern Psychologists who are undertaking the Supervised Practice Program and has an interest in the areas of co-morbid mental health and substance use disorders, counselling psychology, cognitive behavioural therapy, and adolescent mental health.

For the past year, Ray has been working with children/adolescents who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. As part of his job, he worked with a multi-disciplinary team and provided specialised interventions for these children and their families. Ray enjoys working with children and believes that both children and families can benefit from family-centred approach.

She is currently Coordinator of Counselling & Disability Service, Student Support Centre, CQUniversity. Leonie has previously worked as a Psychologist for various government departments, community organisations and in private practice.

Jennifer Rogers

Jennifer Rogers

Jennifer (Jen) completed a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Psychology in 2009 at University Southern Queensland.
While enjoying the opportunity to study in a diverse range of areas that clinical psychology offers, Jen has a specific interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

She enjoys sport and undertook her thesis research examining the relationship between athletic burnout, overtraining, perceived stress, athlete identity, and perceived control in pre-elite and non-elite adolescents in regional, rural and remote areas of Australia.

Jen is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Mark Lorien

Mark has lived in Rockhampton for 10 years and has been a registered psychologist since 1991. He has previously support children who have been abused, worked as an Australian Army psychologist assessor, been a counsellor for employee assistance programs, gambling and worked as a Centrelink vocational assessor.

Mark's professional goal is to specialise in the treatment of chronic pain.
