Priorities and Initiatives - 2012

In keeping with CQUniversity's overarching aim for engaged learning and teaching: "to attract and retain more students, helping them to achieve their educational goals regardless of their cultural and family background or their country of origin" (CQUniversity Strategic Plan), the University has articulated our approach for the enhancment of Learning and Teaching in four broad areas:

  1. Facilitating student access, participation and success
  2. Providing student support
  3. Achieving teaching excellence
  4. Committment to enhancement

For 2012, the Vice-Chancellor identifies "the first year experience with a special emphasis on retention" as a priority for action during 2012.
