A major part of obtaining promotion or progression is having your teaching/research skills and practices recognised as exceptional. The following links provide information about how your practices can be recognised in order to maximise the probability of being recognised as an excellent teacher.
CQUniversity Awards for Excellence in Learning and Teaching - Awards that recognise excellence in contributions to learning and teaching practice. Staff are encouraged to submit an application based on the procedures. For Application closing dates contact: Itgrants-awards@cqu.edu.au.

A number of presentations, seminars and workshops have been conducted to assist staff in preparing their Award application. These can be viewed by accessing the videostreams.
If you would like Mentor support in your application for Award, a number of CQUni's former Award recipients are willing to assist you through the application process. Applicants will be required to make initial contact with a Mentor and make mutually agreed arrangements. The Office of Learning and Teaching is able to assist with room bookings and provision of space for mentoring meetings, if required. Please contact us if you would like to take advantage of this service.
