Professor Beverley Oliver (Curtin University of Technology)
An introduction to current thinking: what are graduate attributes, qualities and capabilities (and does it matter what we call them)? How might they be translated into learning outcomes and woven into the formal and informal curricula? And most importantly, how might they be assessed (by staff, industry partners and students), and how might we gauge graduate achievement?
Professor Beverley Oliver is Director of Teaching and Learning in the Office of Teaching and Learning at Curtin University of Technology. She has spent many years involved in teaching at all levels. Her discipline background is in humanities (languages, literature, media and technology), and she now works on whole of university projects.
