Professor Bill Maher Workshop - Exploring postgraduate student, supervisor and institutional expectations. Enhancing generic skills or more administrivia?

Dr Gary Poole Workshop - To complement the keynote event, this workshop will provide participants who may be relatively new to SoTL, with an opportunity to develop and discuss pedagogical research questions in some depth. Gary will also present samples of outcome measures often used in pedagogical research, along with a way of categorising them to faciltiate decisions regarding their use.

Showcase Reception
The 2007 Showcase organising committee is very pleased to announce that this year's Showcase function is on the Rockhampton campus.

Note: The Showcase Reception is by invitation only. To receive an invitation you must register for the Showcase (using the online registration form) by Monday 5 February.
Special sessions occurring during the 2007 Learning and Teaching Showcase include group presentations, a student panel discussion and debate. Staff/audience participation and interaction will be encouraged in these sessions designed to explore some topical issues, both for higher education generally and for CQUniversity specifically.
We are fortunate to have Dr Gary Poole agree to act as raconteur for the Showcase. We look forward to seeing you there and participating in all events.
