Michael O’Malley, a recent Tier 2 Learning and Teaching Award winner has been experimenting with screencasting as a replacement for his classroom based recorded lectures. Watch the video below to see how Mike has changed his practice around recorded lectures using Camtasia screencasting software. You can also access Mike’s online submission for his Tier 2 L&T Award where he provides samples of his screencasts for the course COIT11222 Visual Programming. You can also access Mike’s complete video collection by visiting the COIT11222 Moodle Course Site.
Thanks Mike for sharing your good practice with the broader CQUniversity Community. If you are interested in learning more about screencasting for your learning and teaching, whether it be to replace video lectures, or for another purpose, contact the Educational Development Team of the Office of Learning and Teaching or Mike O’Malley from the School of ICT.
