Facilities Management Directorate

The Director of Facilities Management has the responsibility for the management of the Directorate's strategic direction as well as provision of advice to the University's senior executive and University Faculties and Divisions.

Role: Facilities Management provides services at varying levels at CQU's regional campuses, that is Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay, Emerald and Rockhampton campuses. The Operations are at CQU Rockhampton and include sections for grounds maintenance, security, finance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, project management and space management. manages capital works projects and buildings, facilities and infrastructure maintenance and upgrading at Bundaberg, Emerald, Gladstone and Mackay.

The Director, Facilities Management is responsible for supporting the planning and development processes associated with CQU Regional Campuses and facilitating the University's strategic development and lease management of facilities at CQU's International Campuses, that is Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast.

Role: Reporting to the Director, Facilities Management, this role is Integral to the leadership and management of the University's strategic direction for property and infrastructure planning.

This role is responsible for:-

The development and implementation of appropriate systems, functions and processes to align infrastructure with the University's academic and business objectives.
Formulation and implementation best practice strategies for the effective operation of the Directorate business services systems, functions and processes to ensure the integrity of operations in alignment with the University's strategic plan and capital infrastructure plan.
